Personal Interests
I enjoy bicycling and contemporary theater in D.C. A good year would include a dozen major league baseball games. I play the recorder and am a member of the American Recorder Society. Telemann is my favorite composer. I still enjoy rock and roll (the 60s and early 70s), for example, Ian Anderson. Among my favorite books are The Three Musketeers by Dumas; Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond; and The Art of Loving by Dr. Erich Fromm. Among my favorite movies are Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Blazing Saddles, and On Golden Pond.
